New TV Show

This fall I got to produce and direct a new show set to premiere on ABC this march.  The title is still to be announced, but it is a limited series of 7 two hour episodes.  Each episode tells a different extraordinary true life story of survival.  I directed 2 episodes (including working with a grizzly bear and getting to live a childhood dream of filming a shootout!) and produced all 7. 

There were a ton of amazing stories of remarkable people and it was an honor to tell the stories.  Look for it!

Monster TV

So this Fall I was very lucky to work on a few promising TV shows.  The first one is about Monsters, Myths, and Legends and will air on H2 in the future.  I worked as the producer for the recreations and directed a few really fun episodes...including an exorcism!

Summer of Television: AMUN and Sasquatch.

I was lucky enough to spend much of the summer producing a made for TV movie about....SASQUATCH!  In addition to that I produced and directed the reenactments of season 3 of America Unearthed which has now begun airing.

Look for the Squatch movie sometime this year and check out America Unearthed on H2 now.

McKnight Media Artist Panel at the Walker Art Center - Thursday, May 29th

So in accordance with my fellowship year as a McKnight Media Artist Fellow, there will be a panel discussion with myself and my two other fellows, Susan Marks and Todd Melby, at the Walker Art Center on Thursday, May the 29th.

America Unearthed Season 2 currently airing on H2

The new season of America Unearthed is currently airing on H2.  I was lucky enough to have been brought back to direct some of the reenactments as well as produce them all.  It is always a fun and challenging job and this year we really created some unique show opens and reenactments.  Check it out Saturdays at 9p EST.

Kumiko: The Treasure Hunter

Last year I was lucky enough to be the UPM for an exceptional feature film entitled Kumiko: The Treasure Hunter.  It is a film by the Zellner Brothers and produced by Chris Ohlson.  It was a remarkable experience and a great film.

The film is currently making the rounds on the festival circuit and has thus far premiered in competition at Sundance, as well as screening at Berlinale and SXSW.  Look out for this as it makes its way to you this year.

EDEN a winner at the GENART FILM FESTIVAL

Honored to announce that EDEN was awarded the BEST SHORT FILM at the Genart Film Festival.  In addition to winning best short it was also awarded the BEST COSTUME DESIGN at the festival.  The Costume Designer on the film was Kerry Riley from Needle & Black and the Wardrobe Supervisor was Jessi Dery.  Congrats to them and to the cast and crew of Eden and thanks to Genart for screening the film.
